Community Walkabouts! What are they?

Community Walkabouts are all about you getting to know your neighbours and your block! West Broadway Community Organization will work with you to gather neighbours and we’ll continue on a walk down your street and down a chosen back lane. Together we will talk about and document what you find pleasing or concerning conditions and find areas of common interest. After our walk, with the recorded information we can work together to contact proper officials to deal with any issues!

To host a Community Walkabout or to see where one is planned near you, please contact Jazmin at community@westbroadway.mb.ca or drop in Monday-Thursday 10AM-4PM.

West Broadway Farmers’ Market

Please join the Good Food Club at the West Broadway Farmers’ Market!

Our new location is 185 Young St. (at the Broadway Neighbourhood Centre Courtyard) and we’ll be there every Wednesday until mid-September, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Meet your neighbours, buy reasonably priced, locally produced foods and products, and enjoy live entertainment!

We’ll have fresh produce, natural meats, honey, cheese, bread, jams & ferments, arts & crafts and more available.

Need parking? Park at Thompson’s Funeral Home (669 Broadway) and walk over.
